Celebrating 10 years of partnership with the Jessel family
We are thrilled to celebrate 10 years of partnership with the Jessel family.
The Jessels are a dedicated local philanthropic family, who have been instrumental in supporting community initiatives across the region through their fund: The Hornbeam Charitable Fund.
We are honoured that for two decades, the family has chosen Kent Community Foundation to help guide them in their local giving. During this time, The Hornbeam Charitable Fund alone has distributed over £80,000.
Vicki Jessel commented “We always look forward to our funding meetings. There is always a robust discussion and as our children grow and experience more of the outside world, they are becoming attuned to the needs of others; a really positive outcome from our journey in philanthropy.”
The vital funding has reached projects addressing a wide range of needs including people with disabilities, youth mental health and young farmers.
“It’s a pleasure to look after the Jessel family and their fund” said Bruce Topham, Fund Manager at Kent Community Foundation. “Their commitment to our shared local community is inspiring, and their long-term vision has allowed us to make a sustainable and meaningful difference in the lives of many.”
We look forward to continuing this fruitful partnership for many years to come, building on the strong foundation established over the past 10 years, to further empower local people and strengthen the community.
