Kent Community Foundation announces Catherine Glover as next Chief Executive

We are delighted to share the exciting news that Kent Community Foundation has appointed Catherine Glover as our new Chief Executive.

Catherine, who joins us in April, brings extensive experience in strategic philanthropy and a deep commitment to advancing our shared goal in supporting local communities. Having held several leadership positions in organisations including global non-profit CDP in which she secured significant funding to advance social and environmental initiatives, Catherine has a proven ability to match giving with real needs.

Catherine comments: “ I am passionate about advocating for a healthy civil society, and guiding those who want to feel fulfilled in their giving, confident in the knowledge it is making a difference to people on their doorstep. I strongly believe in the critical role local voluntary organisations play in supporting individuals and communities to realise opportunities and overcome challenges.

“Leading an organisation which plays a pivotal role in sustainable and impactful giving is an incredible honour and I am excited to make headway into a new chapter for Kent Community Foundation.”

Chair of the Board of Trustees, Robert Sackville-West DL commented: "I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Natalie Smith, Interim Chief Executive and Director of Grants and Impact, for her diligent leadership during this short transition to ensure the Foundation's work continued seamlessly while we searched for a permanent Chief Executive."

We look forward to sharing more about plans in the coming months and Catherine will of course be sharing her vision. If you have any questions in the meantime, do get in touch with the team.

MASSIVE 'thank you ' to everyone at Kent Community Foundation. Your funding support is HUGELY appreciated and has enabled us to get into the heart of local communities with REAL, affordable, healthy and tasty food that does so much more than feed people.
