The Learning Journey Fund is an innovative fund about ambition, sharing ideas, and having space to think and plan.

The Fund will open for applications in mid-January 2025 offering grants of up to £1,500 to support individuals, staff members or volunteers from charities based in Kent to discover new insights and inspiration. Applications via short form and even shorter video. The scheme allows individuals to visit and learn from regional, national, and international best practice, to plan their own next steps and to share learning across the region.

The Fund encourages grantees to be bold. Who is doing what you want to do brilliantly? Who is leading on this nationally or internationally? What can you learn from them and how can you put your learning into practice? Grantees become a community of practice, coming together virtually three times during their learning journey for facilitated discussion.

Grants will be going out in April 2025, to be spent by the end of December 2025. Click here to hear directly from the 2024 grantees about their Learning Journey experience.

The Fund will be opening for applications in mid-January. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact grace@kentcf.org.uk

Community chef Mike Spackman, Sheppey Matters

KCF's enthusiasm for what we are doing and hoping to do, coupled with helpful advice, gave us the confidence to take this daunting step which has paid off.

It's great having a foundation that empowers organisations and charities in our community to make real positive differences and changes!
