Multi-year core funding 2021-2024
Kent Community Foundation recognises that frontline organisations invest a great deal of resource into applying for funding, and sometimes find it challenging to secure funding for their core work and overheads. To acknowledge this, we have been supporting groups with unrestricted funding since 2018. We are therefore delighted that, to celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are able to offer three-year core funding to a third tranche of local organisations.
What are we offering?
Three-year funding*, starting April 2021:
- Year one £12,000
- Year two £9,600, with match fund requirement of £2,400
- Year three £6,000 with match fund requirement of £6,000
Grants paid annually, upon receipt of satisfactory impact reporting.
Who is it for?
One grant per district:
- Tonbridge and Malling
- Tunbridge Wells
- City of Canterbury
- Folkestone and Hythe
Beneficiaries must be living in one of these areas. We anticipate making one grant per district above. We will give priority to organisations addressing the most urgent needs in their district.
- Have had at least three KCF grants, with successful outcomes (where grant period has finished), in the last three years (since January 2018). All due impact reporting must have been submitted
- Have an average annual income over last three years of up to £300,000
What is it for?
Core costs – e.g. utilities, rent, service delivery staff, support staff. Not for start-up costs/pump priming for new work/staff.
If you are successful in your application for Core Support, you would be ineligible for further KCF funding during years one and two (so 2021/22 & 2022/23). This restriction would not apply in year three.
How to apply
Because we will have a lot of your details on file, the application process is brief. To apply, fill in this form by 1st March 2021. If you have any questions about the application process please email email@example.com.
*All multi-year commitments are subject to available funding.
